MobileAware’s Chief Innovations Architect will Outline Strategies for Extending Content Based Adaptation to Ajax Applications DUBLIN, Ireland – September 25, 2007 - MobileAware, the world’s leading provider of Mobile Service Infrastructure, will outline strategies for extending content based adaptation for mobile devices to Ajax applications, at an international workshop on Mobile Ajax, co-hosted by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the OpenAjax Alliance. The event, which takes place in Silicon Valley, California on September 28, will explore industry use cases and challenges relating to Ajax applications on mobile devices. The discussions will help shape the ongoing work in making productive use of Ajax capabilities in mobile browsers. Participants in the workshop will include industry experts from leading software vendors, mobile operators, device manufacturers, Web specialists and infrastructure providers. Dr. Rotan Hanrahan, Chief Innovations Architect at MobileAware, will discuss the role of server-side adaptation, highlighting the unique challenges presented by Ajax techniques and identifying key initiatives that will enable effective presentation across all mobile devices.
