Over-the-Air Delivery
Fulfilment Manager integrates with messaging and communication subsystems to allow multi-stage Over-The-Air (OTA) delivery of content where separate descriptor and content files make up the delivery package.
Fulfilment Manager’s Open Adapter architecture allows for the construction of adapters to deliver many kinds of content over a wide variety of bearers.
At request time, the content type is determined and the appropriate adapter selected for content delivery. Fulfilment Manager ships with default adapters supporting MIDP OTA provisioning – for OTA provisioning of games and other java midlet applications – and OMA OTA provisioning, which allow for OTA provisioning of audio, video, ringtones, wallpapers etc.
