Mobile operators need the flexibility to launch new mobile services rapidly. Being very focused on growing the adoption of their online marketing and service channels means mobile deployment should be somewhat automatic. Cloud-Care and Cloud-Shop (Managed or In-Enterprise)
MobileAware has developed Cloud-Care so mobile operators can bring a new standard of flexibility and change management when deploying online capability to mobile. There are six core modules as part of the Cloud-Care and Cloud-Shop solution:
Device Spectrum Experiences and User Interfaces (native apps, hybrids and mobile web)
Mobile operators can either develop these as part of a reference user interface design or leverage the deep expertise and UI templates of MobileAware for both mobile Self-Care and shop mobile applications.
Cloud Admin Configuration
Many mobile applications are built using solutions that have proprietary integrated development environments (IDEs). While developing the sense of rapid deployment, these mobile approaches require resource intensive and relatively latent IDE abstraction in order to make the application UI’s easier to change. As MobileAware is a leader in delivery for mobile operators, we have a configurable administration UI that can be pushed to business users to give them the flexibility to modify both the user interfaces and business functions that are delivered within the mobile applications. Once the changes are made, it is simple to propagate these across all device classes. This configuration helps operators push common applications to local markets while still giving them the flexibility to be agile without significant IT overhead.
Mobile Orchestration and Adaptation
The heart of the MobileAware platform has a strong mobile orchestration module that is able to connect the mobile UI’s and templates into logical page flows to support the desired front-end functionality. These flows all have logical orchestration objects that are able connect to the integration access objects to an operator’s enterprise application. The mobile orchestration is able to manage millions of transactions to support high volume mobile orchestration requests.
Enterprise Application Integration
MobileAware is able to configure integration components and adapters to core online portal assets, content management systems (CMS), commerce applications, CRM’s and other enterprise applications. These integration components are then invoked by the corresponding mobile orchestration layer (business objects). Using an 80/20 approach, large mobile operators are able to wrap common enterprise applications. Any remaining custom integrations can be handled by building a universal adapter. MobileAware supports numerous integration approaches including web services and web automation (clipping).
Mobile Operators can use the managed process to help launch the mobile services rapidly. Operators may leverage the managed service to evolve a business case to migrate the solution in-house once resources to support the solution and critical mass adoption are achieved. This flexibility is unmatched by any mobile application commercially available.
