Mobile Message Queuing

Applications communicate with each other through asynchronous messages. This means that the communication is not real-time, like web browsing. When an application sends something, it does not assume that the receiving end will get the message immediately. It also assumes that a response could come back at any time.

This type of communication is ideal for occasionally-disconnected computing, because it does not assume constant network connectivity. Also, backend infrastructure is often built using this same message queuing methodology, because it lends itself well to a distributed system of event-driven application components.

ExpressQ provides message queuing over a variety of wireless networks, allowing users to remain productive in the face of coverage gaps, broken connections and network congestion.
