SNCF French National railway company, SNCF, has used MobileAware to deploy two mobile solutions. Infogare allows passengers to access real-time train schedules from any mobile device. Tikefone, Europe’s first mobile rail ticketing service, offers customers the ability to complete the entire ticket-purchase transaction using any mobile device. After completing the transaction passengers receive a multi-media messaging service (MMS) with an embedded barcode that acts as a valid train ticket.
