DRM Support
Fulfilment Manager natively supports Digital Rights Management (DRM) Forward Locked content. This content is DRM-encoded prior to storage in the Content Repository and the DRM agent on the device ensures the content is not forwarded.
DRM 1.0 and DRM 2.0 support is achieved through integration with external
DRM servers supporting OMA DRM 1.0 Separate Delivery and Rights Object Acquisition
Protocol (ROAP). In this way, the content is delivered to the device with
an appropriate DRM wrapper, and this instructs the device to make an additional
request for the DRM right. Alternatively, the rights object may be delivered
via a push message.
